These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all users and participants attending speed dating and social events organized by SpeedTwist Events (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By purchasing a ticket, registering for an event, or attending an event organized by SpeedTwist Events, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

• Participants must be at least 18 years old
• By registering, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and truthful
• We reserve the right to refuse participation if eligibility requirements are not met

2. Event Participation

SpeedTwist Events organizes social speed dating events designed to facilitate introductions between participants.

• We do not guarantee matches, dates, or romantic outcomes
• Matches are based solely on participant preferences and availability
• Participation does not imply compatibility or future contact

3. Code of Conduct

All participants agree to:

• Treat others with respect and courtesy
• Refrain from harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior
• Follow instructions given by event staff

We reserve the right to remove any participant who violates these rules without refund.

4. Safety Disclaimer

• SpeedTwist Events does not conduct background checks on participants
• Attendance is at your own risk
• Participants are solely responsible for their interactions and decisions before, during, and after the event

SpeedTwist Events is not responsible for the behavior of participants.

5. Tickets, Cancellations & Refunds

• Tickets are non-refundable unless otherwise stated
• If SpeedTwist Events cancels an event, participants will receive a refund or the option to transfer to another event
• No refunds are issued for no-shows or late arrivals
• Ticket transfers may be allowed at our discretion

6. Event Changes

We reserve the right to:

• Modify event details such as venue, time, or format
• Substitute hosts or staff
• Cancel or reschedule events due to unforeseen circumstances

Participants will be notified of significant changes when reasonably possible.

7. Photography, Video & Digital Recording

By purchasing a ticket and attending a SpeedTwist Events event, you acknowledge and agree that photographs, video recordings, and other digital recordings may be taken during the event.

You consent to the use of this content, which may include your image, voice, or likeness, for promotional and marketing purposes, including but not limited to:

• Social media platforms
• Website content
• Digital advertising
• Promotional materials

This content may be used without further notice or compensation.

If you do not wish to appear in photos or recordings, you must inform a member of event staff before or during the event, and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SpeedTwist Events shall not be liable for:

• Personal injury or loss
• Emotional distress or dissatisfaction
• Property damage
• Outcomes resulting from participant interactions
• Any indirect or consequential damages

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the SpeedTwist Events website, including text, branding, logos, and images, is the property of SpeedTwist Events and may not be used without prior written permission.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

• Events held in Barcelona are governed by Spanish law
• Events held in Lisbon are governed by Portuguese law

Any disputes shall be subject to the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time.
The most current version will always be available on our website.
